The BVRLA’s June Residual Value and Remarketing (RVR) Forum will look at the upcoming ZEV (Zero Emission Vehicles) Mandate, explaining why it matters and what it will mean for the future of vehicle supply into the UK over the next decade.
Staggering the uptake of electric vehicles between now and 2030, the ZEV mandate will determine what new vehicles are entering the UK car parc, fundamentally impacting the transition to Net Zero and the composition of the used car market.
The BVRLA’s Residual Value and Remarketing (RVR) Forum chaired by Geoff Grindle of Arval BNP Paribas Group and RVR Committee Chairman, will take place on 16 June at Aston Barclay, Wakefield.
Other sessions will feature:
- Martin Potter and Duncan Ward of Aston Barclay who will give a market overview by segment including late plate and the outlook for the next six months
- Dylan Setterfield of cap hpi who will look at future projections and trend position for 3/4-year-old vehicles and late plate
- Ed Hummel of Autotrader, will look at used Battery Electric Vehicles including volumes in the used market and future market projections
The June Technical and Operational Management (TOM) Forum, taking place online on 9 June and chaired by Clive Buhagiar of BMW Financial Services and TOM Committee Chairman, will include sessions on Market insights and technology developments and EV Breakdowns and Incident Management.
