The Department for Transport (DfT), in collaboration with Innovate UK, is hosting an in-person Zero Emission HGV and Infrastructure Demonstrator Programme Progress Summit in March.
The summit is part of the £200m Zero Emission HGV and Infrastructure Demonstrator (ZEHID) Programme, which deploys hundreds of zero-emission HGVs and infrastructure to support the UK's transition away from non-zero emission trucks by 2035/2040.
The BVRLA will be sitting on the ZEHID Industry Partnership Board and is looking for members to provide insights about barriers to the HGV transition and what needs to be done to support it. Any members interested in joining the HGV ‘advisory group’ should contact [email protected].
The event will include:
- An update on all four projects in the programme.
- Discover 70+ infrastructure locations (hydrogen and electric).
- Learn about newly developed standards.
- Hear first-hand experiences from operators leading the way.
- Network with key stakeholders and industry leaders.
The Progress Summit will take place on 6 March 2025 at 200 Aldersgate, St Paul’s, London, EC1A 4HD. Register at this link: Zero Emission HGV and Infrastructure Demonstrator Programme - Progress Summit - Innovate UK Business Connect.
