The Fleets in Charge webinar on 27 April – ‘Powering up: The future of batteries’ – will provide insights into everything regarding batteries for electric vehicles, from their use and future technology, to repair and warranty.
The 60-minute session will take place at 9am and anybody, including non-members, can register to attend the live event. Anyone who registers will also receive a copy of the recording afterwards.
Topics covered and questions posed will include:
- What do material price rises mean for BEVs in the long and short term?
- Must know insights into battery manufacturing and supply to the UK
- How will batteries develop and what does that mean for the sector?
There will be an update from Government with Louise Scott, Advanced Manufacturing and Services at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) and presentations from Jennifer Channell, Innovate UK and the Faraday Battery Challenge, and Tim Bush, Global EV Battery Coordinator, UBS.
They will be followed by a panel discussion with industry experts: Isobel Sheldon, Chief Strategy Officer, Britishvolt; Claire Miller, Director of Technology and Innovation, Octopus; Suzanna Hinson, Green Finance Institute; and Matt Cleevely, Managing Director at Cleevely EV.
