Leading figures from the Conservative and Labour parties will share their visions for road transport at this summer’s Fleets in Charge Conference. Ahead of a General Election later this year, delegates will get a feel for where the priorities of each party lie, and what the future could hold for the sector.
Anthony Browne MP, the Minister responsible for Transport Decarbonisation and Air Quality, will provide an update on the Government’s net zero agenda. He will be followed later in the day by Bill Esterson MP, Shadow Minister for Roads. Esterson will outline Labour’s approach to decarbonisation and road policy, and what steps the party will take if it wins the next General Election.
The BVRLA is holding its flagship Fleets in Charge Conference on Wednesday 10 July in Westminster. The packed agenda also includes the launch of the association’s latest Road to Zero Report Card, as well as keynote speakers and panels exploring ZEV Mandate impact, the future of transport, business innovation, future mobility, and connected vehicles.
