The terms and application of the Zero Emission Vehicle Mandate will be a central topic discussed at the upcoming Fleets in Charge Conference. As decarbonisation regulations continue to be a critical issue over the coming months, the full-day conference will look at their specific impact on vehicle rental, leasing and fleet management.
Following yesterday's update from Government, tthe outcomes of the Industry Strategy and Comprehensive Spending Review are expected this Summer. The Fleets in Charge Conference on Wednesday 2 July will explore the outputs of each, including:
- How will demand be driven alongside supply-side measures like the ZEV mandate?
- How will the dynamics between vehicle manufacturers and our sector evolve?
- Where is the Government prioritising funding and attention?
Opening with an address from Toby Poston, BVRLA Chief Executive, the full-day conference will analyse the current state of play of the UK’s drive to decarbonise.
The event will also see a senior government official taking questions directly from delegates, before a panel of sector leaders will explore the impacts on drivers, charging infrastructure, and where policy interventions are needed.
The Conference is taking place on Wednesday 2 July at the QEII Centre in London.
