Guidance to address the needs and considerations around the provision of eHGV charging solutions and the operation of eHGV fleets has been developed by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET).
Funding for the Guide was provided by Innovate UK, with contents supported by the RHA and BVRLA, as well as input from other industry bodies and professionals.
The Guide introduces the main aspects of depot electrification, as well as exploring the key technical and financial aspects. It is a reference to help all organisations concerned with HGV fleet electrification. The IET will be giving further consideration in the coming months to developing a more detailed document.
