David Smith, Economics Editor at The Sunday Times and columnist at The Times, has been confirmed as the keynote speaker for the BVRLA’s Industry Outlook Conference in early December.
David will give a status update and forecast for the UK’s key economic indicators, including GDP, interest rates, inflation, unemployment, business and consumer confidence, tax burden, and key current account and government debt ratios. He will also look at new PM Rishi Sunak’s options for tackling the cost of living crisis and steering the UK economy back into growth.
Early Bird discounted tickets are still available (until 31 October) for the association’s revamped conference, back after a two-year break.
This year’s event will take place on Wednesday 7 December at the British Motor Museum in Gaydon, Warwickshire. It is aimed at all BVRLA members, operating every type of vehicle and business model.
More businesses are harnessing the power of technology to drive their organisation forward. The 2022 Industry Outlook Conference will also feature a new Fleet Technology Spotlight, which will explore the ways that tech is transforming customer service, compliance, fleet management, and EV charging and energy management.
