As the Winter Olympics drew to a close, there was one gold in the bag for the BVRLA, when it received official notification from IASME Governance that the association has achieved the IASME Gold certification.
The IASME Gold certification is the highest award any small or medium size business can achieve for its Information and IT security. It means that members can be confident that the association treats information it receives in an appropriate manner and maintains its IT environment security to best practise industry standards.
Meeting the IASME Gold standard means that the BVRLA has the right processes, policies, solutions and checks in place to improve the association’s level of defence against any potential cyber-attacks.
Maintaining the newly established best practices and gradually developing security each year in line with IASME recommendations will help the BVRLA keep ahead of the curve when it comes to cyber security.
