Over eighty members joined the BVRLA’s first Residual Value and Remarketing (RVR) Forum of 2022 last week.
Taking place three times annually, each RVR Forum gathers experts and practitioners from across the BVRLA's membership to encourage discussion and debate, sharing information and best practice.
Last week’s forum included a panel session on future business strategies and potential disruptors in 2022, including a view from the auctions with Philip Nothard, Chairman Vehicle Remarketing Association; a view from the dealerships with Becca Chaplin, Contributing Editor Car Dealer magazine; and a view from the leasing industry with Lee Hamlett of Kinto UK.
Professor David Bailey of the University of Birmingham gave a high-level academic view on the motor industry over the next 12 months, including thoughts on what could disrupt the market and the motor industry post Brexit.
Forum subscribers can access presentations from and a recording of the forum on the RVR Forums page.
The next forum will be held on 16 June 2022 at Aston Barclay in Wakefield with a subsequent forum in November.
Members can still subscribe to the June and November events, contact a member of the BVRLA team if you would like to subscribe or have a query about forums at [email protected].
